Only get rid of the minimum length needed so that you remove the damaged ends. Use a shearing scissors or take your child to a professional to do it.

Use a conditioner after washing from time to time. It will close the cuticles of a shaft and trap the moisture and nutrients installed when washing and conditioning. It makes the hair strong and prevents any breakages that may occur due to the dryness. A good number of conditioners exist that you can select from when in the shop.

Using oil also helps seal in the available moisture. Using your hands, apply some oil on the stands that will maintain the moisture in there. Cream can also work the same as oil. Some work more perfectly, therefore, you should be able to choose the best as per your salons. Moisturizing the strands daily is very important. It is not a hard task as you can sprinkle some water and add oil before combing.

Do protective styling every morning as it keeps the strands from breaking at the edges. The commodities you apply on the head of the child ought to be friendly. They should make the strands strong and soft but not inflict damage. When styling, do it softly so that the pressure does not affect the edges. Interchange the styles after some time.
