The different functionalities like of cutting size, intervals, shape, weight and other related properties get stored or even entered into the system using the necessary program. These enable the computerized machine to quickly understand which, when and how things get done as it performs the cuttings.

As a matter of fact, their functionality is more or less similar to that of robots which carry out specific activities after receiving instructions. Milling, lathe, and drilling machines are good examples of this technology. The target materials in most cases are hard and soft solids which require being cut indefinite aspects like a pattern, weight, size and shape and so on.

Traditionally, the operator had the instruction in his mind but was not fed in the device computer system or was not programmed. He had to control its movements so as to get the product he requires. However, on arrival of these computerized ones, the only work is to load the requirement on it and the work is done to satisfaction.
