At times, what transpired many centuries ago is considered an important record of events that has aided in the development of society. After what happened on that fateful September day, she went on to pen The Submission, which won her six awards within that year. The story was set ten years after the event and is a vision of the aftermath of everything that happened on that day, focusing on the main character named Claire Harwell.

To sum it all up, a lot of events have transpired in previous generations and civilizations that aided in shaping what the world has become today. While some of these are bad memories and occasions, humankind has certainly proven that they have the resilience to keep moving forward. The creation of works such as these, are proof of it all.
